Laptops and tablets will not be banned on flights to the US from the EU after it was agreed by officials in Brussels yesterday. The measure was potentially going to be introduced after security reports revealed fears they could be used to conceal a bomb.
The UK have announced a ban on laptops and other electronic devices on passenger flights from Turkey, Lebanon, Jordan, Egypt, Tunisia and Saudi Arabia.The ban applies to any device, including mobiles and smart phones, larger than 16cm long, 9.3cm wide or 1.5cm deep.
