UK Announce Devices Ban on Flights

The UK have announced a ban on laptops and other electronic devices on passenger flights from Turkey, Lebanon, Jordan, Egypt, Tunisia and Saudi Arabia.The ban applies to any device, including mobiles and smart phones, larger than 16cm long, 9.3cm wide or 1.5cm deep.

French ATC Announces Strike Action 6 - 10 March

French ATC have announced strike action from 6 to 10 March 2017, with many passengers likely to be affected. 

Eurocontrol in Brussels says the Brest and Bordeaux control centres will be affected from 5am on Monday until 7pm on Friday, with the action in the south of France running from 5am on Tuesday until 5am on Friday.

British Airways Announce New Strikes: 3rd-9th March

British Airways cabin crew have announced seven days of strike action in the long-running dispute over pay.

Union members of its mixed fleet crew will walk out on March 3 to March 9. The latest strike announcement follows a four-day stoppage, which ended Saturday. BA said once contingency plans had been finalised it would publish more details next week. Unite said it was clear BA could "afford" to settle the dispute after its parent company, IAG, announced annual pre-tax profit of £2bn last week.
