Washington DC

It’s fascinating to wonder what goes on behind closed doors in America’s capital. With its huge monuments, vast museums, colourful neighbourhoods, grand restaurants, wild clubs, and surprisingly nice green spaces, Washington DC is one great town.

Virgin Atlantic flies daily to the US capital, with VS021 leaving London Heathrow at 1130 and arriving into Washington Dulles Airport at 1610.

On the way home, VS022 leaves Washington DC at 1930, arriving back into London at 0705 the next day.

Celebrating the West Coast

As Vancouver has celebrated its 125th birthday, Virgin Atlantic are delighted to announce that they are giving the city a very special present with the announcement of the launch of their new route from London Heathrow. The new service will commence 24 May 2012 and will operate four times a week on a Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday. Initially the service will run throughout the summer up until 27 October 2012 and will see up to 40,000 Virgin Atlantic passengers travelling between London and Vancouver in the first season.

In addition to the new service to Vancouver, Virgin Atlantic are also delighted to announce the launch of a second service to San Francisco. The new service will begin 26 March 2012 and will run throughout the summer until 26 October 2012. It will operate three times a week on Monday, Wednesday and Friday.
