Premium Voyageur: Welcome to a New Class of Comfort.
Introducing Premium Voyageur:
More Space. Extra Amenities. Affordable Luxury.
In October 2009 Air France launched a new cabin onboard its long-haul flights. This new cabin is located between Affaires (Business class) and Voyageur (Economy class) cabins.
40% More Comfort
Premium Voyageur’s cabin provides 40% more individual space compared to Economy class. Its specially designed fixed shell seats were created to enhance passengers’ comfort and sense of privacy. Passengers can fully recline their seat to 123 degrees without disturbing the person behind them. The spacious 48cm seat width, leather armrests and generous 38 inch seat pitch for extra leg room, all go towards ensuring a comfortable journey. There is nearly a metre between seat rows. Furthermore, each seat has a PC plug, a large tray for a laptop computer and a personal adjustable reading lamp.
The Amenities Abound
Premium Voyageur passengers are treated to a travel amenity kit, a feather pillow and pure new wool blanket (all identical to Business class), a personal bottle of water and noise-reducing headphones providing high quality hi-fi sound. The menu is designed by renowned chef Michel Nugues, and offers a choice of two delicious hot dishes. The accompanying Champagne, wines and liqueurs are selected by world-class sommelier Olivier Poussier. The in-flight entertainment includes over 85 on-demand movies in 9 languages and 17 games, that can be viewed on an individual 10.4 inch interactive video screen.
The Voyage Begins Today
Premium Voyageur cabins will be gradually phased in on the entire international long-haul network, on flights operated by Boeing 777s (except services to the Caribbean and Indian Ocean), Airbus A380s, A340s and A330s.
Premium Voyageur is available now for travel on selected flights to the following destinations:
New York JFK, Tokyo, Singapore, Beirut, Beijing, Hong Kong, Osaka, Buenos Aires and Seoul. More destinations to be added soon.
